this server is dying

so i don't wanna say its dying more like there isn't enough to give I THINK THE MODS NEED TO START WARNING PEOPLE like cleaning the eco would be much easier by ADDING CONTENT NOT DICE BAGS for one not everyone likes the v2 i have nothing on that type of server i just think there is to much for its own good in my op they could add a nex or something to this server making the torva drops really rare but also adding in other drops to nex with it personally i like pking but killing the same people over and over again gets annoying add a new b0ss it doesn't even need to drop the nex sets i just want a challenge all in fav for a new boss say i hell it could drop a comp cape or primal for all i care i just want a challenge

More PVM would be nice. Nexx is just nice to kill.

I totally agree, there's not a whole lot of things you can do on this server. It's like pk for a little while, go to frosts, go to corp, go pk some more. And i feel like rather then having a v2 you should just make this server better with adding on things to it like more bosses. And as for the dice bag i really don't have a strong opinion on it other then it does make a lot of people quit. If you're going to add a method of high gambling raise the price on the dice bad and bring back the duel areana.

there is a grate deal of point of having a V2 server with a 714 base, it will attract different people to our community and there are things you can do on those bases that you are unable to code on 317 base.
I am not 100% but I am fairly sure Nex couldn't be coded into the V1 server since on 317 bases they don't have it's char animation, you may say but what about items ect, you can simply ( i say simply but its hard) create a custom item using a 3D software which translates over to your java script so you can code new items into older versions of servers but I am fairly sure if you were to add Nex in blaze would have to pretty much construct it on the 3D software ect ect which is a huge waste of time for nothing.
V1 will most probably get some minor updates soon after V2 is released as pretty much all blaze's time is going on working on it.
i say minor but who knows, blaze could pull a big update out his pocket for you V1 players which i'm sure you'd all love.

im not saying it needs to be nex just a really hard boss with good drops you know what i mean it can be anything im not saying they shouldn't make another server just add on to the one they had before because one is good but 2 is always better

One thing that V1 is missing is that I cannot simple make a big update like nex without the need of a cache update, a cache update is quite a lot of work and the last time we did it a few months ago we lost 50% of our community and we dont think we can take that risk again because then the server will die quickly.

The fact is, we simple do not have the nex, primal or comp cape models and animations. A cache update is needed for this.

Also you might have notice the economy of V1 is not that great, there are some rich people and thats mainly removing the achievement part of the game even futher. I recall the time people were bragging all day because they had not just one ags but 2 and full bandos. Now days people have so much stuff, look at Zezima, he has what? 10k+ activity points? The economy at the begin was good but it slowly turned into crap.

Me and Lestic didnt see this coming 7 months ago, thats the moment we decided 2-3 months ago that this is going to be a rampage in the end. The only real items that have value are the items from the pkshop (apart from 'rares') but you can buy those for 60% of the price at your local spammer at home.

I my self have tons of experience with hosting and running servers but back when I was younger I didnt had a legit Paypal and all that stuff so I couldnt keep the server on for longer then 2 weeks to a month and this is the first time I am running a server that is on for like 7 months, my mind is more open now and when I work on V2 I have more of a feeling that it can run way way way longer because I know the amount of content is very large thats why I am putting so much effort into V2 right now.

In my 6 years experience with RsPs I have learned that RsPs has stages, back then every server was old and had lacking futures. If you had a working ags animation your server was the bomb, you could use it as your main advertisement and you would get loads of people. The first servers that had bounty hunter, 250 online within one day.

The point of the story is that new fresh content such as HD graphics, nex with sounds and all the other good and new stuff is the 'new shit', the new generation. People will come from RS and look for something they know, not for some server that loads maps from 2009.

These kind of servers will die out and we are investing in the newest type of RsPs currently avaible. We still care about Purechaos and we always will, its just that we dont want to try and revive something that is already slowing dieing in general.

blaze it doesn't need to be a nex at all it can be anything you can make up your own boss like the barrel chest that has many rare drops but rare and takes more then 3 people to kill that would be very awesome make it have like 20 hp bars or something and hit 50s that would be fun man and i understand where you're coming for 100% with the broken eco but the reason its so broken is because you keep stores in place like you can remove bandos and add another item random crap into these shops every month or so and make bandos actually drop bandos the fact that most of the npc only drop rare drops and nothing else is very boring in and out of itself like i said it doesn't matter if its nex or not i think everyone just wants a high level boss that drops good items and the idea of changing the drops every week for the boss is good to like one week it could have a rare as a santa or something the next week it could have a easter egg or quest cape it really doesn't matter lol


the smart idea would be you need 100 activity points to go to the boss you're gonna add so they actually have a use you know what i mean you could buy bandos or go to this boss and try to get something good you're just not thinking hard enough you know what i mean and if you do that people will sell the bandos and stuff back to the shop to go to this boss and over time it will make the eco more better then what it is now come on that seems like a good idea in my op

I don't think you release what it takes to code such things you are suggesting...
I do agree that some way bandos, godswords ect should be reset and made to actually kill the bosses for them, kinda of defeats the point of spawn/pk server but the players on the server are all old players who would probably want this to happen, what ever Blaze thinks best he should post a poll to see who wants what ect..

V1 also has some bugs that cannot be fixed either..

simply, make v1 for people who like old content and v2 for people who like the new one.

all im saying is there should be a boss a main boss that is strong that drop this stuff but you need activity points around 100 to 200 to go to it if you die and lose you're stuff and you're friend is not there well tough shit it will balance everything overtime all you gotta do is make a boss that hits really high like i said i think it should be the barrel chest you don't need to add any new updates as im sure you already have the npc in the server you can give it the corps attack if you know how to do that and 20 hp bars all you would have to do is switch the drops every so and so weeks
