Hey john welcome, as for the security thing it happend to me to do the following steps:

1. go to your start logo thing
2. type configure java
3. open it and and go to security
4. then open edit site list
5. then type http://purechaos.info/play.php

then click ok and ok again and you will be fine

Note: this can also be done with other sites.
