Gambling Update

Before answering this question, think about it. Gambling has a negative and a positive side:

Negative:

It makes people quit because they lose their bank and rage on other people because they win and you always lose.

Positive:

It can make you rich in a day.


Now the interesting part: if gambling will be added to PureChaos, I will make sure to nerf both sides of the gambling problem. Both the negative and positive part will be edged to a minimum.

I think it's a good idea.

I'm pretty mutual on both sides. But I am more leaning towards a no. You deal with a lot more scammers, trollers, and just stupid things that occur when a player has been chance to make his bank or break it. I don't think PureChaos needs it.

Sponsor only maby ultimate and costs 500tk or somthing for the dice

and its not like it would hurt the eco as much as the activity point shop

We will not make it so players can gamble, we will make npcs and systems that gamble for you to prevent scamming.

Good idea, but only NPC's, else more players will bitch and stuff .

the problem is with having a npc that gambles wont allow u to gamble items and i guess this isnt good enough atm..

there is a major problem with dice..

so lets make it either these 3 ways:

-to buy dice for toks(like 1k or so) and make a clan for the people who has a dice with a fee of 500toks to enter..
incase of any scam the clan owner kicks the ranked dicer and give back items to players and the dicer gets his dice taken away

-having either sponsers or mods+ able to dice only.. to prevent scamming in anyways


-having the ability to donate for a dice (expansive) and in case any scam happens with proof the one who donated get his dice taken away and the victim gets his stuff back..


i can also say there is 1 more way:


adding a new rank called trusted or dicers or what ever..

this allows the ranked players to dice and incase of anyscam the player gets demoted and his ip gets reseted(loses all bank).

Rambo I came from a server which was recently shutdown, but we introduced dicing onto the server for $150, in which you can buy the dice bag which was a non tradable item. People still scammed even if they spent this money. If someone thinks they are going to get away with it, trust me they will scam no matter the circumstances. If it is only mod+ then people will only want mod to be able to dice which is not what we want for the server. No matter what you can not fully stop scammers with what you were proposing as an idea.

But the last part about the rank and player being demoted and ip reset. If that rule is enforced lets say if dice bags are available its not a bad idea these ranks would have to be thought out well though.

i think your right some how.. but in the same time people wont get mod unless blaze chooses them.. he always chooses right.. so i dont think its a bad idea any how.

Coz usually dicing makes u rich.. that mean if mods and admins are dicers, they are rich and they cause the ppl quit? just make it like sponsor mods and admins can dice, if they buy dice what cost like 1k toks or something like that.

and they gotta get rank for it, otherwise ppl just trolling that they are dicers and shit.

Oh and the part where u gotta buy dice what cost 1k toks, u can buy it from Blaze Lestic only? so blaze lestic gonna look the one who buying is trustable enought or no? that mean they sell or no?

Remoo i thought admins have spawn commands? so they wouldn't need to dice? :L Well on most servers i know admins have free spawn otherwise i like your idea.

Introducing a new gambling game called "rps aka. rock paper scissors".
Okey, it's almost same like irl game (if you have played it :d).
Game needs 3players: trusted gambler, player who want to bet and a random counter.
Counter counts numbers 1 to 5. And on 5 , gambler and better says their opinion (idk if right word..) so they can pick one of : rock, paper or scissors.
The winning system is: rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock, but if both says same like rock and rock then better can say pay bacck or rematch.
Example. I am trusted gambler, uhmm cms is a guy who wants to bet and zezima is counter.
Zezima counts to 5 and exactly on 5 both (gambler and person who bet) says their opinion. So lets say cms want to bet 200tokkul and counter asks ready? And then starts counting. Lets say we both sayd rock and cms wants to rematch so we do rematch and lets aay i told scissors he tol rock. So the winner is? - cms and gambler have to pay him 400tokkul.

I love the gambling idea, this is how i would set it up:
Make it so Ultimates + can only host, making NPCs is kinda stupid TBH, you cant use items etc...
Make the dice cost a considerable amount 250-1000tk in my opinion is fair.
Make a new cc tab just for gambling, make it like a clan charter to start it, pay 250-500tks to start a clan.
Also maybe add mithril seeds for 1-2tk each at the store, therefore the more popular the host is at flower games the more they have to pay for supplies which puts a constant flow go back into the eco.
(Tbh if you added gambling and you needed to be ulti or sponsor I would buy it just to host )
Anyway you guys are welcome to comment on my ideas/add to them.
